First-Team All-Area honoree by the Morning Call and Intelligencer. Durable player who made 47 career starts and missed just one game in his career due to injury in his freshman season. Did not allow a sack his senior year and yielded just one sack as a junior. One of 50 recipients of the Mini Max Award for excellence in high school football, as awarded by the Maxwell Club.
