Played in 12 games.
2011: Played
in all 13 games and made 12 starts at center. Ranked second on the offensive
line with 710 snaps on the season. Graded out at 80 percent for the season.
Ranked fourth on the team with 42.5 knockdown blocks on the year. Had an 82
percent grade in the season opener at Syracuse (Sept. 1). Graded out at 83
percent and had 5.5 knockdowns vs. Gardner-Webb (Sept. 17). Graded out at a
season-high 84 percent and had five knockdowns at Boston College (Oct. 1). Finished with five
knockdowns vs. Florida State (Oct. 8). Sprained an ankle in the
first quarter vs. Virginia Tech (Oct. 15) and was limited to just 31 plays.
Still had three knockdowns against the Hokies. Had 3.5 knockdowns vs. Notre
Dame (Nov. 5). Graded out at 83 percent with three knockdowns at Clemson (Nov.
12). Had a season-high eight knockdowns vs. Maryland (Nov. 19). Turned in 3.5
knockdowns vs. Vanderbilt (Nov. 26). Graded out at 79 percent with two
knockdowns in the Music City Bowl vs. Mississippi State (Dec. 30).
2010: Earned
first varsity letter while seeing action at both center and guard. Saw action
in seven games and earned three starts. Graded out at 69 percent for the
season. Received an 80 percent grade against Boston College (Nov. 6) while leading the team
with five knockdown blocks ... Started each of the final three games of the
season. Was in for 59 plays in a start at center at NC State (Nov. 13) and led
the team with five knockdown blocks. Started at left guard vs. Clemson (Nov.
20) and tied for the team lead with 64 plays and a team-high five knockdowns.
Posted a team-best 3.5 knockdowns while competing in 48 plays at Vanderbilt
(Nov. 27) as the starter at right guard.
2009: Did
not see any game action. Saw extensive action at center during spring practice.
2008: Redshirted
the season.
High
School: Attended Rock Bridge High School. Enrolled at Wake Forest in January of 2008 and
participated in spring drills. Was named to the Columbia Tribune All-Area team
as both a junior and senior. Rated the No. 19 high school senior coming out of Missouri in 2008 by both Scout.com and
Rivals.com. Three-year starter for the Bruins who earned Class 6A all-state
honors as a senior. Named to the all-district team as both a junior and senior.
Also saw action on the defensive line where he recorded 28 tackles. Played for
Coach A.J. Ofodile. Helped the Bruins to a 9-1 mark and a No. 1 ranking in the
state as a junior in 2006. Moved from right tackle to left tackle as a senior.
Recorded 30 tackles and 1.5 sacks as a junior on defense.

in health and exercise science. Son of Dwight and Helen Williams. Born Oct.
