2012: Played in the Raycom College Football All-Star Game. Selected First Team All-Sun Belt Conference (Coaches & Media selection) for the 2012 college football season. Suspended for the first half of the Florida International game because of a personal foul in the WKU game. Played in 12 games.

2011: Named to the Preseason All-Sun Belt First Team. Started the first 10 games at left guard. Missed the Western Kentucky game which snapped a streak of 30 consecutive starts. Only regular starter not to allow a sack all season. Battled shoulder and knee injuries all year, but managed to play 636 snaps and record 96 knockdown blocks. Committed just two penalties and graded out at 85.5 percent

2010: Started all 13 games on the offensive line. Credited with 11 knockdowns against Arkansas State and 16 knockdowns against North Texas. Graded out at 86 percent against the Mean Green and 85 percent grade against FIU. Graded at 86 percent against WKU. Finished with 11 knockdowns and team-high 92 percent grade against Florida Atlantic. Finished the season with 86 knockdown blocks despite playing most of the year with a bad shoulder and ankle

2009: Started 12 of 13 games for the Trojans at right tackle. Missed the Arkansas State game with an ankle sprain suffered against UAB. Played a season-high 83 snaps at Arkansas. Also had a season-high eight knockdown blocks against the Razorbacks. Credited with 41 total knockdown blocks for the season

2008: Redshirted.

High School: Was a two-year letterwinner at The Heritage School in Georgia. Twice named team captain and twice named all-region and all-county. Credited with 68 pancake blocks and 64 knockdown blocks during his senior season. On defense, finished with 44 tackles including two sacks, two forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries and two blocked field goals. Had three receptions as a tight end for 20 yards and a touchdown. Also served as the team long snapper. Lettered in baseball and basketball. Attended the National Youth Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C., and was invited to the Global Youth Leadership Conference in Europe and China. Invited to attend the 2009 Presidential Inauguration. Served as a page for State Representative Barbara Mobley. Member of the Key Club, Latin Club, Outdoors Club and FCA. Fluent in German
