2017: Started all 13 contests at center in 2017. Named Second Team All-ACC. First Team All-ACC by Phil Steele. Named to ESPN’s All-ACC Bowl team. Named to the All-American All-Bowl Second Team by Max Emfinger Scouting. Named a Second Team All-American by Max Emfinger Scouting. Fourth team preseason All-ACC selection by Athlon. Rimington Award preseason watch list in 2017. Named ACC Offensive Lineman of the Week on Nov. 20 following the NC State game. Graded out at 90 percent and did not allow a sack. Nominated for ACC Offensive Lineman of the Week after the Louisville game. Graded out at 96 percent with three knockdown blocks. Earned his third varsity letter. Versatile enough to play guard or tackle when needed.
2016: Starting right tackle in all 13 games in 2016. Earned nomination for ACC Offensive Lineman of the Week after he graded out at 91 percent vs. Syracuse with a pancake block. Led all offensive linemen with 896 snaps on the season. Graded out tops among offensive linemen against Tulane, Army West Point, Clemson, Louisville, NC State, and Virginia. Tied for the highest grade with Justin Herron against Duke. Earned his second varsity letter.
2015: Missed the first five games of the season and made his season debut against Boston College. Started each of the final three games of the season at right tackle. Played a season-high 55 snaps vs. Boston College. On the field for a total of 312 snaps. Was the highest-rated offensive lineman against NC State (10/24) and Notre Dame (11/14).
2014: Redshirted. Had a strong spring and entered preseason camp listed as the starting center. Enrolled early at Wake Forest in January 2014 and participated in spring practice.
High School: Played a post-graduate year at The Hun School in New Jersey. Played left tackle and defensive end. Is a 2013 graduate of Wakefield High School in Raleigh North Carolina where he was a two-year captain. Played both ways throughout his prep career. First Team all-conference as a junior and senior in both football and lacrosse. Had eight sacks on defense in 2013 while not allowing a sack on offense. Earned academic all-conference honors. Played for Coach John Law at The Hun School.
Personal: Son of Ken and Maria Anderson. Brother, Matt, played football at Lafayette. Born December 30, 1994.
